In his ‘Local Knowledge’ project Shikchit gives us a intimate look into the daily lives of the locals in the Bagmati region of Nepal.
“I grew up running through rice fields, stealing plums and apricots with my brother from local venders in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. Life was simple and free.”
Machchegaun is the municipality in the Bagmati Zone of Central Nepal, close to the outskirts of Kathmandu.
Shikchit Khanal is a photographer, based in Proctor, Texas. Check his portfolio here: atmanscreation.com
