[dropcap]A[/dropcap] few years ago I travelled to India, hoping to discover a country that would not leave me indifferent. I decided to wander around with the idea of immortalising the moments and situations that drew my attention and, in a way, show what India meant to me. I wandered for five months through the North, the South and the centre of this vast country.

There are many things still to be seen, lived and learnt, thus this is an open project of which I can only display little touches imprinted on my negatives.

It has been one of the most complicated photographic works of my career, due to the large quantity of material that I accumulated.

I have the feeling that I left many things un-photographed.

It is pure street photography.

Hace cuatro años que llegué a la India con la intención de descubrir un país que no deja indiferente a nadie.

Me propuse callejear y callejear con la idea de inmortalizar aquellos momentos y situaciones que me llamaran más la atención y, de alguna manera, mostrar que significa India para mí. Deambulé 5 meses por el Norte, el Sur y el centro de este país-continente.

He descubierto que India es vitalidad, energía, pulsión, vibración y pureza imperfecta. Un viaje con momentos dulces, tranquilos, puros y gratificantes mezclado con situaciones amargas, duras y tristes que van directas al cerebro y te rompen el alma…entender India es como entender la vida y según ellos necesitamos muchas para aprenderlo. Me queda mucho por ver, vivir y aprender y este es un proyecto abierto del que sólo puedo mostrar pequeñas pinceladas impresas en mis negativos.

Quizás una de las ediciones más complicadas por la cantidad de material de que dispongo y a la vez la sensación de haberme dejado muchas otras cosas por fotografiar.
